Testing & Certification

Fully Tested

We offer a Test & Certification service even if you have installed your own cables and require certificates.

Full documentation of the test results will be provided for your reference files and O&M manuals.

Network Data Cabling Faults

Most of network faults are due to cabling not being tested properly after installation. All our CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6a structured cabling & fibre optic installations are accompanied with a full test report and certification, 15 year Cablelink Leeds Ltd warranty or 25 year product warranty supplier backed. All single-mode and multi-mode fibre cables installed by our engineers are fusion spliced to give you the best possible test results to achieve the highest standards.

Full Installation

On completion, all our data network installations are tested with Fluke testing equipment using either single mode, multi-mode Cat5e, Cat6, Cat 6a heads to ensure that your network infrastructure is operating at correct speeds and installed correctly.

Test Equipment

Cablelink Leeds Ltd use the latest core alignment fusion splicers for fibre installation and repair works. For fault finding we use quad OTDR/Fluke equipment combining single mode and multi-mode capabilities.

We use Fluke DTX and DSX cable analysers to record test results for Customers to read in PDF format and to send to system manufactures to scrutinize for warranty application.

All of Cablelink Leeds Ltd test equipment is serviced and calibrated regularly to conform to industry requirements.
